Purpose built outdoor play areas to stimulate and encourage outdoor learning
Orchard Lea Nursery & Preschool Keynsham is expanding.
Previously there has been a nursery on site for about 10 years, which was run by another childcare provider. When we took over we started an extensive renovation & refurbishment program. This was completed in the summer of 2014 and held a successful opening day in July.
Since then the nursery has grown from strength to strength, and was recently awarded “Outstanding” by Ofsted who inspected us in September 2014. The nursery continues to grow and we have renovated our garden ready for summer 2018.
We have a strong and well established team, with some of our experienced team members transferring from our kingswood nursery.
The nursery offers some fantastic facilities, with great indoor and outdoor spaces which really encourages our children to form strong relationships with their peers and enjoy their time with us as much as possible.

The Building is a purpose built, single storey building within walking distance of Keynsham High Street and is situated next to St Keyna’s school. We are registered to accommodate 90 children between 7.30 am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. We also have an afterschool club for existing families, collecting from St Johns school.
We currently have team of 30 staff who are all qualified to NVQ level 3 or higher and trained in Paediatric First aid, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling and Safeguarding.
We have tried to create a warm, welcoming, friendly, safe environment for our children which is in keeping with the Orchard Lea ethos. We strive to provide the highest level of childcare possible, with support for families and carers.
We are able to offer free childcare for 2,3 & 4 year old children as part of the Early Years Entitlement offered by Bath & North East Sommerset Council. For more information visit their website via the link below: www.banes.gov.uk
Our Preschool feeds into the local school in the area, St Keyna, St Johns, Castle Primary, Sommerdale even further afield as Saltford, Pensford and South West Bristol alike.
